Hello curlies and gents!

I just wanted to share an amazing recipe that I found on Pinterest and attempted tonight! Try it yourself!

Lasagna Stuffed Shells - here's the original recipe, I adapted mine slightly.

Ingredients

  • 20 jumbo shells
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach (drained)
  • 2 cups of Ragu Sweet Italian sausage and cheese tomato sauce
  • 1 lb of ground beef

Procedure:

  1. Bring a pot of water a boil, add your noodles and cook according to box instructions.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Spread 1/2 cup of tomato sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  4. Brown your ground beef in a pan.  Season to taste. (I seasoned with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic and onion powder.)
  5. Stir in 1 cup of tomato sauce into your meat.
  6. In a small bowl, mix your ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, egg and 1/4 cup of spinach.
  7. Add in your beef and tomato sauce mixture.
  8. Spoon a generous amount of the final mixture into each shell. Place the shells in the pan of sauce with the opening facing up.
  9. smother your shells with the remaining 1/2 cup of tomato sauce.
  10. Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of your shells.
  11. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes uncovered, or until cheese is completely melted.
Enjoy!
